Privacy Policy

Data protection and data security: We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Of course we operate this website in compliance with the current data protection law. However, we would like to point out that data transfer via the Internet may have security gaps and/or cannot be completely protected from being accessed by third parties. If you contact us by e-mail, this communication is always unencrypted. We explicitly object to the use of the contact details given on these pages for commercial advertisement or other commercial purposes as well as to the disclosure of this data to third parties.

In the following, we would like to inform you of our privacy policy. This also includes information on the collection and use of personal data connected with the use of this website. You can access this statement at any time on our website.

Personal data

You can always visit and use our website without providing personal data.

If we do collect personal data, like name, address, or email address, this is done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. We do not disclose your data to third parties.

If you contact us, we use your personal data if this is necessary to process your request (so-called user-related data). During your visit to and use of our website, a data set containing the so-called user-related data is also automatically created on our webserver. It contains information on

  • the description of your browser type and your IP address
  • the page from which a file was requested
  • the name of the requested file
  • the data volume transferred
  • the dwell time on our pages
  • the date and time of the request
  • the access status

We guarantee that your IP address is anonymized by masking 2 bytes of the IP address, i.e. the last six digits. These data sets are used for statistical purposes only. They enable us to adapt the content and design of our website to the needs of our visitors in an optimal way. The data thus collected will not be used for any other purposes.

Webtracking

In order to adapt the design of our website to the needs of our visitors, we use a web analytics tool called Piwik.

Therefore every visit to our website automatically generates a pseudonymized user profile. Technically this means that a pseudonymous token within a cookie (see below) is saved on your terminal equipment.

The creation of personal user profiles is excluded.

You can also object to or prohibit the creation of pseudonymized user profiles. In order to do so, please remove the tick at the text box highlighted in grey at the end of this privacy statement to stop the Piwik application. Alternatively, you can also deactivate the use of cookies or activate the Do-Not-Track function in your browser settings.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files which are saved on the hard disk of your terminal equipment as soon as you visit our website. They are used to store certain information for a limited period of time. This allows you, for example, to use previously saved settings.

We use the following cookies on our website:

  • has_js
  • pk_ses.1.3f62
  • pkid.1.3f62

Right of access

You are entitled, at any time and free of charge, to inquire about your personal data collected, to revoke your consent to the future use of your personal data and also have the basic right to have deleted any data collected. For the enforcement of these rights, please contact one of the persons in charge mentioned in the legal notice.
