Citizens’ Consultations

Big Data applications create significant social potential and problems. To identify them, the ABIDA project will, among other things, conduct three citizens’ consultations.

These events facilitate extensive exchange of arguments among citizens. The participants (about 60 people each) will be selected at random and provided in advance with information about the project. The citizens’ consultations serve as an interface to the public. Their results will be discussed in the focus groups, and will be used to verify and extend the scenarios and as an input for the population survey.
